We had an incredible 3-night stay at a beautiful lodge nestled in the rainforest along a tranquil river. the staff went above and beyond, upgrading our room to a river view which made our romantic getaway even more special. the meals were delicious, and we highly recommend exploring the rainforest walks to discover hidden swimming holes in the Mossman river. the lodge's heated pool, reading room, and bar area provided a relaxing atmosphere with stunning views of the river. And falling asleep to the soothing sound of the river with our balcony doors open was pure bliss. the overall experience at Silky Oaks Lodge exceeded our expectations, and we can't recommend it enough!
Nothing that I didn't like. 😊.

We really enjoyed our stay at Silky Oaks Lodge. The location & accommodation is stunning, the staff is extremely kind and the diner is excellent. We found the entire hotel and surrounding environment very peaceful. From the dining room to the interior in the bungalows it was all very nice and beautiful. The service was excellent and everyone was really taking care of us. We loved the opportunity to walk straight into the forest and we had one of the best desserts in our life at the restaurant.

We got to explore the ancient rainforest and go on sick tours to learn about the culture and history of the Indigenous people. The treehouses were sick too, with contemporary furnishings and epic views. The top tips were legit, with activities like snorkeling and hiking. It was a dope experience, highly recommend for young thrill-seekers!
The only thing that could have made it better was if they had a sick party vibe for us young party-goers. Like maybe a DJ or a live band playing some sick tunes.

The peaceful tranquility.
The only 'fault' we could find was that the sandwiches in the picnic hamper were dried out after a two hour hike.

Wonderfully relaxing time. Staff could not do enough. Food was of excellent standard. Pure luxury.
Remote from beach. Could have been better information on the rainforest plants and the significance of the forest as a World Heritage Area comprised of the most ancient flowering plants on Earth and an incredibly biodiverse ecosystem.

Silky Oaks Lodge is my go-to place in Daintree. I keep coming back because it's simply perfect. The staff recommended great places to eat on my first stay, and I've been hooked ever since. With free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, laundry, and a pool, what more could I ask for? Excited to return for Christmas!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and made us feel so welcome. From the moment we arrived, the new staff member took care of everything, including parking our car and bringing our luggage to our room. The little touches like leaving chocolates on our bed and the beautiful music and lighting in the room added to the overall experience. Our balcony with a hammock and stunning views was such a treat. We also loved the variety of activities offered here, including kayaking, swimming, and a night walk. The pool was lovely and the breakfast and dinner options were delicious. The hotel's proximity to Mossman Gorge center was a major plus, as we were able to enjoy a guided walk there. this hotel made our stay truly special and we can't wait to come back.
Nothing to fault.
